Terry Ruf

Resident of Yorkton  since 1982.  My wife Nadia and I have 2 children.

My son is at Sacred Heart High School; my daughter graduated from SHHS.

- I am a Owner/Operator Courier for Nelson Courier

- Members  of St. Marys  Church;  Knights of Columbus; COY Urban Planning Commission for 2 years; Vice Chairperson of the YRCSSD for 3 years.

I was first elected to the Yorkton Catholic School Board in 1997. Iwas involved In building of St. Micheals School & the new SHHS.

Today being on the Christ the Teacher RCSSD 212 board after the amalgamations in 2005 has been busy, interesting, challenging and rewarding seeing the accomplishments of the Students and Staff.

I was told and learned along time ago that the only Dumb Question is the one that you don’t ask! Everything has its Changes, challenges and that is certainly True for School Divisions today.

I believe that having policies and procedures in place to keep our schools safe for the students, teachers and staff; the people who make our schools Excellent communities of faith, hope and love. I also believe that Home-School-Church all play an important part in developing the whole child and helping Prepare him/her to go  into the real world on their own.

I  have a very Positive attitude and know that you have to look at and hear both sides of any situation before making sometimes difficult decisions. I feel my experiences in the last 12 years on Catholic Boards is a great asset to have facing the present challenges and threats against Catholic Education.

I ask and Thank-you in advance for your support in the election to serve you as a board member on CTTRCSSD 212 for another term.
