Frequently Asked Questions
WHEN DO I GET PAID?
Payday is every second Friday, and you’ll receive your first pay cheque within three weeks of starting your employment. Hourly employees must complete a time sheet and submit it to payroll. Pay cheques are directly deposited into your bank account through the direct deposit program.
AS AN HOURLY PAID EMPLOYEE HOW DO I GET PAID?
You must submit your timesheet to payroll before 9:00 a.m. on the Monday before payday. Make sure it is correctly filled-in and signed by your supervisor as turning it in late will delay processing. We do not offer advance pay.
WHAT IS DEDUCTED FROM MY PAYCHEQUE?
Source deductions including federal tax, provincial tax, CPP and EI will be deducted automatically from your paycheque. All deductions are made based on the information you provide on the TD1 form. If this information changes, inform your supervisor to ensure accurate deductions are made.
